Housing Accommodations

Indiana Tech recognizes the importance of providing reasonable accommodations in its housing
policies and practices, where necessary, for individuals with disabilities to fully participate in the
University housing program.

Indiana Tech Accommodation Review Team, comprised of Disability Services, Residence Life, and Counseling Services, approves requests for housing accommodations and modifications for students with significant documented disabilities. It works with Residence Life to identify residential spaces that meet the student’s needs.

Students should submit Housing Accommodation requests to the Disability Services Office no fewer than 90 days before the student intends to move into University housing. If the accommodation request is made fewer than 90 days before the student moves into University housing, Indiana Tech cannot guarantee that it will be able to meet the student’s accommodation needs during the first semester or term of occupancy.
